This winter you will see a new type of activity in the Huntley Park District seasonal brochure... Ice Skating Lessons!  Offered at the Leafs Ice Centre in West Dundee, a short drive from Huntley, a series of skating lessons for children and adults will be available this winter.  Customers may signup online or in person at the Huntley Park District and receive instruction through the professional ice skating staff at Leafs Ice Centre.

When asked about this new opportunity Park District Recreation Director, Scott Crowe, had this to offer "It is important that our residents are able to find recreational opportunities close to home.  Where the Huntley Park District cannot offer the facilities or expertise to deliver some of these opportunities, we believe that partnering with local businesses who can, benefits the district, the businesses, and most importantly, our residents."  By offering introductory and instructional the Huntley Park District can further its mission of "Providing accessible parks, programs, open space and facilities for healthy activities, creative expression and learning opportunities in order to enhance the quality of life for district residents and visitors."
