Athletic Facility Supervisor, Camp Counselor, and Beyond the Bell Activity Leader
How long have you worked for the Park District?
5 years
What is your favorite part about working at the Park District?
All the incredible people I get to work with. Whether it is a person working in a higher position or a coworker, they all make you feel like family. They are always so accommodating and care for me not just as an employee, but as a person as well. I couldn’t ask for a better environment to work in.
What is something interesting about you that most people do not know?
I’m a diehard Notre Dame fan! My dream has been to see them win a national title in football.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Binge TV shows. I love all types of shows, and I’ll watch basically anything you put on in front of me.
What is your favorite book of all time?
To Kill a Mockingbird. We had to read it for English class in my sophomore year of high school and I’ve loved it ever since.
Quote from Jake’s supervisor:
“Jake is a great asset to our team. He is very dependable. Whether he is a Supervisor at the REC Center or Tomaso Sports Park he has the knack to think ahead for the different situations that may occur. When Jake is on the schedule, I don’t need to worry about anything, he can handle all problems. You don’t have to tell Jake what to do, he just does it, no questions asked. Great team player.” – Chris Pacana, Athletic Coordinator
