Each year, Shaw Media and the Northwest Herald publish the Best of the Fox Readers' Choice Awards for various counties in Northwest Illinois. The 2021 McHenry County Best of the Fox awards have been announced, and Huntley Park District's Deicke Park has been named one of the best Parks/Outdoors in McHenry County!

This marks the first time that Deicke Park has been honored this award, thanks to the people of McHenry County!
